Fees Depend on Procedures Chosen

The price of your surgery includes such items as the surgeon's fee, anesthesia fee, operating room fee, and the cost of the implants. A surgery that takes one hour to complete will cost less than a surgery that takes 2 hours. A more complex procedure is more expensive, as well.

In addition, all breast enhancement patients in New Jersey are unfortunately subject to a 6% Cosmetic Surgery Sales Tax. New Jersey cosmetic surgery patients are the only patients in the country subject to this type of cosmetic taxation. Dr. Sorokin believes that this tax is unfair and discriminatory against women; however, he is obligated by New Jersey law to collect this tax on any cosmetic surgery in New Jersey. Dr. Sorokin as well as other members of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons continue to fight to have this tax repealed.

Financing Your Surgery

Insurance plans do not cover elective surgery such as breast augmentation. While some insurance plans may cover breast reduction, Dr. Sorokin does not participate with commercial insurance plans. We do accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Cash, check, and money orders are also welcome. We finance many procedures through CareCredit. The staff at Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery will work closely with you to help you secure the financing you need to make your procedure affordable.
