This 25 year lady presented to Dr Sorokin desiring breast augmentation. She had seen multiple surgeons in consultation all throughout the state as many of our patients do. She believed that a 2 hour drive was well worth it to in her words "have surgery performed by a surgeon with a keen interest in breast augmentation who not only has the surgical skill but also the artistic sculpting ability" she was looking for. At 5 foot 5 inches and 125lbs she wanted to be at least a small D cup posteroperatively from the 34A she was starting with. She chose silicone gel implants to be placed through IMF crease incisions. She is shown before and 6 months after placement of 400cc moderate plus implants. She is delighted with her result. She said she does not believe that she "could have received better treatment anywhere else in New Jersey!" Also shown are close-up views of her healed incision scars at 6 months. It is very important for patients to understand that any incision leaves a scar and the goal is to place a small, fine, inconspicuous scar. Scars take at least 6 months to fade and ideally blend well into the surrounding tissue.
